Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Northeast Learning Center - Killingly Head Start and Early Head Start

Federally funded program for income-eligible children, ages three to five.
The programs promote school readiness by collaboratively enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and their families. 
Benefits of Early Head Start include strong family involvement and support with child development, education, health, nutrition, mental health, and safety.

EASTCONN offers a variety of Head Start programs. 
Options include center-based programming in:
Killingly, Putnam, and PlainfieldHome-based program serving Tolland county.  Windham Public Schools administers a center-based program in the greater Windham area.  Their programs use a developmentally appropriate school readiness curriculum collectively with the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards to ensure we align with the public schools that will be receiving these children.
