Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Abingdon Head Start

Services provided include:
Weekly 1 1/2 hour visits in your home with a parent/child educator
 Prenatal support and education for expecting mothers Parenting and discipline information and support Developmentally appropriate activities for you to do with your child Demonstrations of how materials in your own home can be used for learning activities Help in securing other services including social, physical & dental health, and nutrition Parent/child activity groups twice a month where you can meet other families Opportunities to participate in committees Support in building your confidence in being a parent Support in helping your child get a successful start in life
