EnrollmentThe Fairfax County Public Schools Family and Early Childhood Education Program (FECEP)/Head Start includes the following services to enrolled children with no monetary cost to families:Nutritious mealsClassroom program designed for individual learning needs of childrenVision, hearing, and speech screeningsOpportunities for parent participationAcceptance into the program is based on:A child's age--Children must be 4 years old by September 30 or 5 years old after September 30.A limited number of children who are 3 years old by September 30 will be accepted at designated schools.Family income--Priority placement is always given to income-eligible applicants. Residency--Families must be residents of Fairfax County.
