Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: ACCAA - Early Head Start

The Head Start Program is a free, comprehensive child and family development school readiness program available to income eligible families in Ashtabula County.

Early Head Start is a home based program offered to pregnant women, infants and children up to the age of 3 years old.  

Head Start offers services to families with children ages 3-5 years old within either a Center-based or a Home-based option. 

Each of these options identifies a mix of classroom, socialization, and in-home sessions.

Head Start involves the participation of the whole family in the development and education of the child in preparation for the transition to kindergarten.

It is a full-year program providing comprehensive services to families through either a Center-based or a Home-based option.
