Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: A. A. Dixon EHS - CAPC
Community action program committee, inc. (CAPC) operates Head Start/Early Head Start centers throughout Pensacola.
To be eligible for Head Start, families must qualify according to income guidelines (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services) or have a child with a diagnosed disability.
These children are provided special services that address their individual needs.
To enroll in Head Start or Early Head Start, bring the following information to register:
- Completed Application
- Childs Birth Certificate (The Child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1st.)
- Childs Social Security Card
- Childs Health Insurance Card
- Documentation of Residency
- Documentation of Family Income (2 most recent Paycheck Stubs)
- Documentation of Public Assistance (SSI, TANF, Housing, Food Stamps, Medicaid)
- Disability Documentation (Recommended but NOT required).
