Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Palm Beach County Early Learning Coalition - Early Head Start (EHS)

Comprehensive child development program for three-and four year olds.

Full year/ full day program located in ten centers throughout the county.

Mission is to develop, enhance the social, emotional health, nutritional and psychological needs of children from economically disadvantaged families.

10% of the Head Start slots are for handicapped.

Head Start promotes school readiness of low-income children by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development in a learning environment that supports children's growth in language, literacy, mathematics, science,social and emotional functioning, creative arts, and physical skills.

Early Head Start provides early,continuous, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services on a year-round basis to low-income families to enhance the physical, social,emotional,and intellectual development of infants and toddlers from birth to age three and pregnant women.

Early Head Start Home Based OptionsA comprehensive full-year program providing child development, education, social, emotional, health, nutritional and psychological services to parents and their children birth - three years and pregnant women in the comfort of their homes.

Bimonthly socialization's are conducted to allow opportunities for families to network with each other.

Transportation is provided for socialization's.
