Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Murrieta Head Start - RCOE

The primary purpose of the programs in the Early Childhood Education Programs (ECEP) unit is to provide quality, comprehensive services to promote healthy patterns of growth and development in children. 

Programs:

*Head Start:                                                             
3 and 4 year olds with priority to 4 year olds.
              
*Early Head Start:
Infant through 2 years, 8 months of age.

*State Preschool:
3 and 4 year olds with priority given to 4 year olds


Income Eligibility
    100% of enrolled children in Riverside County must meet Federal poverty income guidelines. Funding
    Federal grant, submitted yearly. September - August cycle. RCOE must match with 20% In Kind     Federal grant, submitted yearly. September - August cycle. RCOE must match with 20% In Kind.     State grant submitted yearly. July - June funding cycle.
Enrollment
    Program must be fully enrolled at all times. At least 10% of enrollment by mid-year must be children with special needs.     Program must be fully enrolled at all times.
