Who is Eligible?Women who are pregnant and families with children ages 0-5 may enroll in Early Head Start or Head Start if:The family receives any of the following public assistance benefits: Reach Up (RUFA), Childcare Subsidy, Family Support Subsidy, or Supplemental Security Income (SSI); ORThe child or pregnant woman is in foster care; ORThe family is homeless; ORThe family meets federal income-guidelines.Champlain Valley Head Start can also enroll a limited number of families who do not meet the conditions listed above.
