Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Whitstran Child Development Center

The federally funded Region X Head Start Program (RHS) provides preschool services to low-income children 3 to 5 years of age, including children with disabilities. The program's mission is to help children develop in ways that will enable them to enjoy positive experiences and success within the public school system. Head Start children socialize with others, solve problems, and have other experiences, which help them become self-confident. RHS offers children comprehensive services that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. Children receive nutritional assessments and dental care, vision and hearing tests as well.
