      Good afternoon, I am emailing to inquire on behalf of a new family that I am working with in New Haven. The child is placed in kinship foster care with her maternal grandmother and is four with turning five in June. DCF and grandmother plan to apply to magnet schools for her for the fall, although we would like her enrolled in a program sooner. She previously attended an early childhood program at Sleeping Giant in Hamden, however they no longer have openings. Does the Head Start Center have any openings at this time?
